Op. Dr. Necat Kaplan was born in Siirt in 1976. After completing his primary, secondary and high school education there, he began his medical education at Atatürk University Faculty of Medicine in 1992.

Between 2000 and 2005, he completed his general surgery specialization training at Ankara Training and Research Hospital and became a General Surgery Specialist. After his specialization, he worked in state and private hospitals in Siirt, Yalova, Bursa, and Istanbul.

He has received training and gained clinical experience in the fields of obesity and metabolic surgery, advanced laparoscopic surgery, and laparoscopic gastrointestinal surgery.
